We are a german-canadian family and living mostly in Canada by now. We would like to find some respectful people to rent our gorgeous loft. Our place is ideal for families. There is a nice garden where the children can play in security because it is closed. It is also perfect for musicians. We have a siliencing room where you can practice music for example. All costs are included in the price. Since we only use the attached (and independent!) one-room apartment for our stays in Berlin, it is possible to use this apartment as well (just ask for more infos). This is a wonderful and sunny loft apartment on the 5th floor (with elevator) of an old telegraph factory from the year 1890. During the GDR time, the building was a radio factory and has been used as a scenery for the moovie "Eight Miles High" after the Fall of the Berlin Wall.This factory building has been rebuilt in 2010 into individual apartments. Due to the unusual height of the building, you have from here a view over Berlin, from Alex to Tempelhof airport, Neuköln and the "Treptowers". This factory bulding is located in a quiet backyard of the Karl-Kunger street. From there, you can reach the Gölitzer Parc, the famous SO36, Neukölln, the Treptower Parc and the shore of the Spree River in a few minutes walk. The apartment has an app. 60qm livingroom with an open kitchen, a app. 25qm bedroom with an open bathroom, a 12qm room, which we used as the children bedroom (The loft bed or optionally a single bed are currently in the basement), a separated toilet, and a 12qm terrace with a great view. The apartment is family friendly. As facilities, there is a completely furnished Kitchen with a gas stove, a electric furnace, a dishwasher, a refridgarator and freezer, a wasching machine, Internet (VDSL100 with WLAN), a video projector wich you can connect on a computer, a stereo equipment, a piano, a brazier on the terrace. In the bedroom, there is a double bed, in the bathroom, there is a bathtub and a separated rain shower. In the range of 200 m. there is the bus line 194 (north-south connexions) and the bus lines M43 and 166 (east- west connexions). In 6 min. walk, you can also reach the metro station "Treptower Park". Up to now, we have always found a parking place within 200 meters around. Voir plus Voir moins Wir sind eine deutsch-kanadische Familie und leben mittlerweile überwiegend in Kanada. Es gibt einen schönen Garten, wo die Kinder in Sicherheit spielen können, da er geschlossen ist. Es ist auch perfekt für Musiker. Wir haben einen Musikraum, in dem man zum Beispiel Musik üben kann. Alle Kosten sind im Preis inbegriffen. Da wir für unsere Aufenthalte in Berlin nur das angeschlossene (und unabhängige!) Ein-Zimmer-Appartement nutzen, ist es möglich, dieses Appartement ebenfalls zu nutzen (fragen Sie einfach nach mehr Infos). Es handelt sich um eine wunderschöne und sonnige Loftwohnung im 5. Stock (mit Aufzug) einer alten Telegraphenfabrik aus dem Jahr 1890. Zu DDR-Zeiten war das Gebäude eine Radiofabrik und wurde nach dem Fall der Mauer als Kulisse für den Film „Eight Miles High“ genutzt. 2010 wurde das Fabrikgebäude zu individuellen Wohnungen umgebaut. Durch die ungewöhnliche Höhe des Gebäudes hat man von hier aus einen Blick über Berlin, vom Alex zum Flughafen Tempelhof, nach Neuköln und zu den Treptowers“. Das Fabrikgebäude befindet sich in einem ruhigen Hinterhof der Karl-Kunger-Straße. Von dort aus erreicht man in wenigen Gehminuten den Gölitzer Park, das berühmte SO36, Neukölln, den Treptower Park und das Spreeufer. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein ca. 60qm Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche, ein ca. 25qm Schlafzimmer mit offenem Bad, ein 12qm Zimmer, das wir als Kinderzimmer genutzt haben (das Hochbett oder wahlweise ein Einzelbett stehen derzeit im Keller), ein separates WC und eine 12qm Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist familienfreundlich. Zur Ausstattung gehören eine komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Gasherd, Elektroofen, Geschirrspüler, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Waschmaschine, Internet (VDSL100 mit WLAN), ein Videoprojektor, der an einen Computer angeschlossen werden kann, eine Stereoanlage, ein Klavier, ein Kaminofen auf der Terrasse. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es ein Doppelbett, im Badezimmer eine Badewanne und eine separate Regendusche. Im Bereich von 200 m. gibt es die Buslinie 194 (Nord-Süd-Verbindungen) und die Buslinien M43 und 166 (Ost-West-Verbindungen). In 6 Min. Fußweg erreicht man auch die U-Bahn-Station „Treptower Park“.
